Meal planning apps finally clicked for me after years of ignoring them
I always thought those apps were just for people who like spreadsheets too much. Tried Mealime for 2 weeks and my weekly grocery bill dropped from $80 to $55 because I stopped buying random stuff. Anyone else find a tool they hated at first actually worked?

Buddy of mine swore by paper lists till his fridge turned into a science experiment.

Wait, did he just forget he had a list or did he literally watch his fridge turn into a petri dish? Look, I get it, paper lists are solid if you actually use them right but half the time people just scribble stuff down and never check it again. That's not the system's fault, that's just bad follow through. My fridge has never been a science experiment because I actually look at my list before I buy more stuff. Paper works fine if you're not lazy about it. So really, the problem isn't the paper list, it's the guy who can't be bothered to read it.

Did he at least find some cool mold cultures in there?
