My friend told me I was spending too much on coffee, so I changed my morning routine
My buddy Mike at work pointed out I was dropping $5 a day at the café near our office in Phoenix. I switched to making cold brew at home with a $20 pitcher and buying beans in bulk from Costco. Now I'm saving about $100 a month, which feels good. Has anyone else cut a small daily habit and seen big savings?

Feels good to actually see those savings add up, doesn't it?

Different take here - I actually liked the ritual of walking to the café and chatting with the barista every morning. That $5 bought me a few minutes of human contact before staring at a screen all day, and I think that's worth something (maybe not $100 a month, but still). The cold brew at home ends up just being a chore I rush through, and I miss the little social part of my day.
