Rant: I was rounding every bill up to the next dollar in my head and calling it a budget
Sat down with my bank app last Tuesday in Des Moines and added up my actual grocery spending for March, and my "budget" of $400 was really $517. I never tracked cash or the 3 or 4 quick gas station runs a week, so the round-up trick just made me feel good without showing the leak. How do you all handle the small cash stuff, do you log it same day or just pull a set amount out and let it ride?

My buddy kept a cash envelope and still lost track. Same deal.
