That grocery store receipt made me switch to cash envelopes
I stood in the Aldi parking lot last Tuesday and saw my total for the week hit $187 for just two people, mostly snacks and stuff I forgot I already had. Turns out handing over a set amount of cash every Sunday keeps me honest because watching the bills disappear is way harder than swiping a card. Anyone else ditch cards for a few weeks and see their food bill drop like that?
