For 9 years I dumped every receipt into a shoebox and spent a miserable weekend each January sorting it all out. Last spring my accountant in Baltimore pushed back and told me I was losing around $3,000 a year in missed write offs, so I switched to 20 minutes of bookkeeping every Friday. Any other owners out there make the weekly switch, and did it actually save you money or just save your sanity?
