Sanded edge banding is fine, stop pretending it isnt

Overheard two guys at the supply house yesterday saying sanded edge banding looks cheap and always fails, but Ive used it on 40+ melamine jobs over the last 6 months and never had a callback. Sure, the laminate strip needs a steady hand and a sharp scraper, but it saves me from hauling a router to every install site. Anyone else think the hate comes from people who never bothered to dial in their iron heat settings?

Iron temp is everything, haters just never dialed it in.
