Shoutout to the guy at the lumber yard in Dayton who asked if I was flipping my boards after each pass
I spent about 3 hours last Saturday jointing 8/4 walnut for a kitchen island and kept getting snipe on the tail end no matter how careful I was. He walked by and asked if I was flipping each board end for end between passes, and I just stared at him because in 6 years I never once thought to do that. Is flipping boards between passes something you all do as a habit, or did I just miss that day in shop class?
