Shoutout to the guys who told me to stop sanding past 180 grit on paint grade face frames
I used to take everything to 220 grit out of habit and my primer was soaking up so uneven I was spraying 3 coats on maple frames just to hide the fuzz. Switched to stopping at 180 six months back and my coat count dropped to 2 with a cleaner finish, plus I'm saving about 45 minutes per kitchen. Anyone else notice paint grade actually gets worse the more you sand, or is that just my setup?
