Why does nobody talk about how hinges get installed wrong on face frame cabs
A finisher named Dale at a shop in Charlotte watched me set euro hinges on a maple face frame and asked why I was centering them on the stile like it was a frameless box. He said the door always sags after a year because the screws sit too close to the edge and blow out the grain. I started offsetting them 3mm toward the opening and adding a shim plate, and I have not had a callback since. How are you all lining up cup holes on narrow stiles?
