Finally got my average crawl space time in these old Philly rowhouses down from 45 minutes to under 20.
Switched from a standard headlamp to a 1000-lumen right-angle light clipped to my belt, and now I can actually see both hands while I'm working.

That's such a perfect example of how the right tool changes everything. So many jobs get way harder just because of bad lighting or some other small annoyance. Makes you wonder what else we're all struggling with that has a simple fix.

Oh man, this hits home. It's like we're all just waiting for that one moment of frustration to finally look up the easy way. I swear half my life is spent doing things the stupid, hard way because I won't just stop for two seconds and search for a better method. The worst part is, once you learn the simple fix, you feel like an idiot for all the time you wasted.

Exactly. We always talk about tools, but never about the time to learn them. A lot of simple fixes are just sitting there, but the real cost is the ten minutes to watch a tutorial or read the manual that nobody has. So we keep using the hard way because starting feels like more work.
