Just finished my 100th attic run this afternoon
I was counting up my job tickets from this year and somehow hit 100 attic cable runs today. That's 100 times I crawled through blown insulation, dodged nails, and sweated my ass off in 130 degree heat. Hit that number on a new build in Brookside where the customer wanted a whole home mesh system. It hit me different because I started this job solo two years ago and now I'm tracking real progress. Anyone else ever look back at their numbers and surprise themselves?

You ever have a buddy who kept charging at stuff till he burned out hard? My friend Mike @parker_webb, he used to run jobs nonstop until one time he fell through a ceiling on a routine attic run and realized that grind just meant he had way more mistakes waiting to happen.

Doesn't it feel like a lot of the wins we get happen when we're just grinding away?

Honestly I kinda think it's the opposite. When you're grinding away you're usually just tired and making sloppy decisions. The big wins I've had always came when I stepped back and actually thought about what I was doing instead of just pushing through.
