Shoutout to the GC who let me run conduit before drywall went up last Friday

I was working a new build in Raleigh and the GC pushed back the sheetrock crew by one day so I could get my runs in. That never happens, did I just hit the lottery or do you guys have any GCs that actually get it?

My buddy in Charlotte had a GC delay drywall three times for him, which sounds great until he found out they forgot the fire caulking.

Oh man, I feel this so hard haha. Had a GC once that kept pushing my start date back like three weeks because the drywall crew "wasn't available" but really they just wanted to squeeze in another job. Finally get started and they left out the fire caulking on all the top plate penetrations too. Drove me crazy having to go back and fix it when I was already behind schedule.

@white.keith you ever ask the GC specifically why they kept delaying? Kinda wondering if it was just poor scheduling or if they had other stuff going on behind the scenes. Maybe it's just me but I'd want to know if they were trying to juggle too many jobs at once.
