Raccoon family moved into my repair bench overnight
Last Tuesday I left a disassembled Pentax K1000 on my bench with the shutter box out and came back to find paw prints all over the mirror and half my screwdrivers knocked on the floor. The little guy apparently got in through a busted window hinge and decided my clamps were a jungle gym, no damage to the camera luckily. Has anyone else had critters mess with an open repair, and how do you keep them out without locking up every single part?

Did that raccoon leave any claw marks on your shutter? I had a squirrel get into my shop last fall and it chewed through a bellows on an old folder I was rebuilding, which was a real pain. Now I just cover any open camera with a plastic tub whenever I step away, it's cheap insurance and keeps the little paws off.
