Remember when we all thought mirrorless was just a fad?
I was convinced the electronic viewfinder lag would kill it for pros, but a client brought in a Sony A7 with a shutter count over 200k and it was still perfect. Anyone else have a tech shift they were totally wrong about?

Yeah, I was in that camp too. Thought the battery life alone would make mirrorless useless for real work. Then I borrowed a friend's Fuji for a weekend shoot and never looked back. The size and weight difference changed everything for me. Sometimes you just have to get your hands on the new thing to realize how wrong you were.

People get so worked up about gear sometimes. A camera is just a tool to get the job done. My old DSLR still takes great photos, and I'm not rushing to replace it. The tech changes, but the basics of a good picture stay the same.

But isn't the tool's size and weight part of getting the job done easier? My back sure thinks so now.
