Hit 73 campsite check-ins before I noticed the pattern in my gear failures

So I keep a little log of every trip, just dates and spots and what broke or got lost. Last weekend I added number 73 and something clicked. Nearly every single failure, from a snapped tent pole to a busted zipper, happened on trips where I packed in a hurry the night before. The relaxed trips where I set stuff out two days early? Zero issues. That number finally slapped me in the face. Has anyone else tracked their breakdowns and found a weird pattern like this?
