Honestly thought my old camp stove was bulletproof until a trip last month
The fuel line cracked on the second night near Lake Tahoe, leaving us with cold food. I had to patch it with some tape from a first aid kit, which was a real pain. Anyone have a good stove they've used for years without issues?

Sounds like that stove picked a great time to retire.

Devil's advocate here - maybe spending half a grand on a cooler just to keep ice for two days is kinda ridiculous when a $30 bag of ice costs like $2. Sometimes the simple stuff works fine if you plan ahead.

Yeah, that's the worst. My old Coleman finally gave up after a decade, so I feel your pain.

Used to think any cheap cooler was fine until a weekend trip went bad. Had a basic one that leaked melted ice all over the car trunk, ruined some groceries. Saw a friend's Yeti keep ice for days in direct sun. Now I get why paying more upfront saves money and hassle later.
