Met a guy at a campsite near Flagler Beach who let me try his 20 year old Svea stove, and my $70 jet burner felt like a toy
He said his dad carried it on the same trip every summer since 1988, and it lit on the second pump while I was still fiddling with my piezo igniter in the wind. Anyone else still running gear older than their kids, or am I the only one who keeps buying new stuff that quits after two seasons?
