That ranger in 2019 who told me to trust my rain fly changed how I pack
He watched me wrestle a wrinkled tarp for 20 minutes at Shenandoah and just said 'you're fighting the fabric instead of the wind, cowboy,' and since then I've stopped folding my tent corners like origami and my sleep system has been dry through 40+ downpours, anyone else had a stranger's two second tip rewrite their whole setup?

A tarp tip from Shenandoah didn't rewrite your setup, it just saved you ten minutes.
