I thought that $40 resume review was a scam, then a guy in Austin showed me my own words
Been applying to warehouse lead spots for 7 months with no callbacks, so I threw $40 at a resume review mostly to prove it was a waste. The guy sent back a 3 page breakdown and the first note was that I wrote 'duties included' 11 times and never once said what I actually fixed. I spent one evening rewriting it with real numbers (cut pick errors 30%, ran a crew of 6) and got 3 interviews in 2 weeks. Anyone else get surprised by feedback coming from somewhere you assumed was just fishing for money, or did I just get lucky with this one?
