Showerthought: I used to think green jobs were just for activists.
Now they're a normal part of many careers.

My younger self pictured someone chaining themselves to a tree as the ultimate green job. Now my cousin installs solar panels and my old college roommate works on making factories run cleaner. It's wild how normal it's become while I was busy just sorting paper from plastic. Guess I should have paid more attention back then, huh?

Wow, maxs15 that really got to me. I totally used to think the exact same way, that saving the planet was all about those big protest moments. Seeing it turn into normal jobs your cousin and friend can actually do, that's the real change. Makes the whole thing feel way more possible, you know? Kinda wish my past self had seen that coming instead of feeling so helpless about it.

Past me would've called that selling out.

Nah, calling it selling out is wild. Those solar panel and factory jobs need serious skills and actually fix stuff. My friend does battery tech and it's crazy hard work that matters way more than just yelling, tbh.
