Isn't it funny how we do that with everything? I used to write these long texts to friends explaining why I couldn't hang out, now I just say "can't make it, next time" and nobody cares. Same with emails at work, the short ones get answered way faster than the paragraphs. People just want the point, not the whole story around it.
