Warning: My salary negotiation with a new firm in Charlotte took three months, not three days.

Three months just for salary talks? That's wild. Major red flag about how that place operates. A decent company can hash out numbers in a week or two tops. Hope the paycheck was fat enough to justify that headache.

Man, that sounds brutal. Three months is an insane amount of time to be left hanging. It really shows how some companies just don't respect a candidate's time at all. You must have been stressed the whole time waiting for a final answer. Honestly, good on you for sticking it out, but that process sounds broken. Hope the final offer was at least worth the wait.

Used to think it was just how things worked, but that kind of wait is wild. Really changes your view on who actually values your time.

My buddy got ghosted for four months after a "final round," which totally proves @finley_smith's point about companies not valuing your time.
