I used to hate pocket hole joinery until I saw a friend's cabinet after 3 years

I always thought pocket holes were weak and just for quick diy stuff. Then my buddy showed me a kitchen cabinet he built in 2021 with nothing but pocket screws. It's still rock solid after daily use, no wobble or gaps anywhere. He even let me try to pull a joint apart and I couldn't budge it. That sold me on them for face frames and interior work. Anyone else change their mind on a joinery method after seeing it hold up long term?

Glue and pocket holes together are seriously underrated.

Still talking just pocket screws or adding some dowels in there too?
