Old timer told me to stop rushing glue-ups and he was right

Glue actually builds strength for about 24 hours, not just the 15 minutes most people wait.

@rowanr8 my buddy left a clamp on overnight and the joint snapped anyway next day.

Nah, 24 hours seems like overkill. Clamp for like an hour and call it good, if the glue was gonna fail it'll fail no matter how long you wait.
