Spent two hours trying to get a mitered picture frame corner perfectly tight.
The issue was a tiny bit of sawdust stuck in the kerf of my miter saw blade throwing off the cut. Anyone have a quick trick for cleaning that out between cuts?

Man, two whole hours on a picture frame? That's some serious dedication. I would have thrown the wood across the shop after like 20 minutes. It's wild how something as small as a speck of sawdust can ruin everything. I always just blow on the blade real quick, but sometimes you need a little pick or a brush to really get in there.

Oh man, the air can is a game changer for sure. But what do you do when you're in the middle of a cut and you see that little bit of gunk building up? Do you stop everything right then, or just power through and clean it after?

Totally feel that, spent way too long on a frame last week before realizing the same thing. That little air can trick is a lifesaver.

Keep a little can of compressed air right by the saw. A quick blast into the teeth after every few cuts knocks all that packed dust right out. I used to fight with a tiny screwdriver or a brush, but that air gets it done in half a second. Saves so much headache when you're trying to nail those tight joints.

Last year I was totally with henry_anderson54, just blowing on the blade and getting mad. Then I saw someone use the air can trick on a job site. I bought one for like eight bucks and it changed everything, especially on my miter saw. Now I keep it right on the bench and give the blade a quick puff after every cut.
