Tried two different miter saw stands this week, one was way better
I had to cut like 60 pieces of crown molding for a living room in Decatur. Used my old fold up stand with the legs. Kept having to reset the saw because the stand wobbled on uneven floor. Bought a different one with a wheel kit and leveling feet. Cuts went twice as fast and I didn't have to fight the setup. Anyone else ditch their basic stand for something sturdier?

Gotta disagree a little bit there... crown molding usually goes on a ceiling, not a living room floor, but I know what you meant. That leveling feet upgrade is a game changer though.

Yeah but a buddy of mine tried that leveling trick and stripped the screws first time he adjusted them. Learned the hard way that those feet can be finicky.

Yeah, I used to think they were fine too until I nearly snapped one off myself.
