An installer in Tulsa told me to stop stretching from the same corner every time
I was on a 3 bedroom job in Tulsa last month and the guy helping me, Marcus, asked why I always started power stretching from the same corner. I said that's how I was taught, and he said that's why my seams kept opening up on the long runs. He showed me how to work from the middle out on anything over 20 feet and I tried it on the next house, and the seam laid down flat with almost no buckling. Does anyone else switch up their stretch direction based on the room shape, or do you stick with one corner every time?
