Cheap knee kicker pad cost me a full day in Phoenix
The cheap pad shredded on a medium pile carpet after about 20 kicks, no joke. I had to drive 40 minutes out to a supply house near the airport and grab a proper one for $38, plus I lost the entire morning that was suppose to be a quick bedroom install. The teeth had no grip and the pad kept sliding, so I stretched a hall crooked and had to pull it all up. Total loss was around $50 in gas and time, not counting the headache. Has anyone else tried saving a few bucks on this and lived to tell about it?
