...and that's why I keep a spare blade in my truck at all times. Learned that lesson the hard way too, but mine was only 12 yards and a lot of swearing. You basically paid 23 yards of carpet to learn a $5 lesson. That's like the most expensive way to figure out dull blades are useless. At least you didn't cut your hand off, so there's that silver lining. Hope the next roll goes smoother and your blade is sharper than my ex's tongue.
