Glue-down over stretch-in on a 40-year-old slab, no regrets

Did a 4,000 square foot office job in Columbus last month and chose glue-down instead of the stretch-in everyone kept pushing. The slab had cracks and moisture issues, so tack strips felt like a gamble that would bubble in six months. It took longer to prep, but the finish came out flat and tight with zero callbacks. Anyone else pick glue-down on tricky subfloors and get flak from the crew? How did yours hold up?

That "zero callbacks" line is what changed my mind, I used to swear by stretch-in but now I see it different.
