Hit 1,000 square feet of carpet installed in a single day for the first time
I finally pushed past 1,000 feet in one shift and my knees are screaming, but that's a grind milestone every installer should aim for, anyone else hit a personal record that changed how you pace jobs?

Take it easy. It's just carpet, not brain surgery. You're acting like you climbed Everest in work boots.

Why should he take it easy? Pride in work matters.

You know, I used to think hitting big numbers was just ego stuff, but that "grind milestone" bit hit me different. I usually pace myself at 700-800 and call it good, but last month I pushed to 1,050 and realized I was just scared of the burn the next day. The thing that changed for me was learning to stage my tools better and keep my cuts tighter, now 900 feels like a normal day and my knees actually hurt less.
