Just switched from a standard utility knife to a hook blade for cutting carpet pad
The hook blade made a cleaner, faster cut on a 1,500 sq ft job in Tacoma and my wrist didn't ache after. Anyone else find a specific tool that made a huge difference in your daily work?

Totally get that feeling of finding the right tool for the job. It reminds me of how using a good kitchen knife instead of a dull one makes cooking so much easier and less of a chore. We put up with the wrong tool for way too long just because it's what we have. That small upgrade can turn a hard, annoying task into something almost simple.
