Rant: the cushion pad upgrade almost nobody orders is the one that saves callbacks
A rep at my supplier in Phoenix showed me their numbers and 8lb pad gets roughly one re-stretch call for every 40 jobs while the cheaper 6lb stuff runs closer to one in 12. So why does every builder in town still spec the thin stuff, is it really just the $90 difference on a whole house?
