That moment when a puppy claims your knee kicker as its own

I was on a job yesterday and the family's new puppy decided my knee kicker was the perfect thing to gnaw on. He dragged it across the room while I was measuring, and I had to chase him down. Everyone in the house was cracking up, and I ended up with slobber all over my tool. It was hilarious but slowed me down a bit!

Yeah, pets have a real talent for finding the one thing you can't work without. My old dog used to run off with my chalk line every single time. Makes you wonder if they're all in on the same joke.

I was installing carpet in a split-level house last month, and the cat kept stealing my carpet tacks right out of the tray.
