The landlord who measured with a dollar bill

Had a guy in Akron last month who pulled out a crinkled dollar bill to check for a high spot, then argued the floor was flat because the bill slid under his stretcher. I showed him the 3/8 inch dip with a straightedge and he still tried to negotiate my install fee down by $50. Has anyone else dealt with someone who thinks their eyeball is more accurate than a level?
