Always thought sending a thank you note with the invoice was cheesy until I tried it
After 6 months of chasing 30 overdue accounts I slipped a handwritten note into the envelope with one and that guy paid in 2 days flat, so who's the fool now - has anyone else tested something that felt corny but actually worked?

Heard a story from my buddy who runs a small plumbing business. He was sick of getting ignored so he started taping a $5 coffee shop gift card to the back of his invoices. Said it felt ridiculous at first but then people started paying way faster just to get the card. Crazy what a tiny unexpected gesture can do to change the whole vibe.
