I sent a client a singing telegram to get them to pay up
This graphic design firm in Phoenix owed me $1200 and was ignoring my emails for two months. I hired a guy in a chicken costume to show up at their office and sing a custom song about paying invoices. The owner called me laughing and paid the same day. Has anyone else tried something totally weird that actually worked?

My buddy sent a glitter bomb for a late payment last year.

Honestly, that glitter bomb idea from @max716 is pretty classic. Tbh, my old boss once had a local pizza place deliver 50 empty boxes to a non-paying client's lobby with "PAY UP" written in sharpie on the inside. It was a total mess but it worked.

A chicken costume for $1200 is the new corporate collections department. I'm just imagining the accounting line item for that.
