Small win: got a $4,700 invoice paid by adding a 2% late fee notice
Found out that in my state, you can legally charge interest on overdue invoices as long as it's written on the original terms, so I added a simple line to my contract last month. Client paid 3 days after the due date for the first time in 6 months, guess that tiny threat did it. Anyone else had luck with adding fees without scaring off regulars?
