My connecting flight got canceled, so all my fresh herbs wilted

Had to explain to the head chef why the menu changed last minute. Not a fun conversation.

Remember that giant bag of trail mix you buy for the airport and never touch? I did that last month, and it sat in my carry-on through a whole trip. Got home and the nuts were weirdly soft, so it all went bad. I meant to eat it, but then you just grab the overpriced pretzel at the gate instead. Felt pretty bad tossing a full, unopened bag. It's like my good planning just makes more trash sometimes.
