My Saturday brunch service finally clicked after 7 months of chaos
Last Sunday we did 86 covers with zero ticket mess-ups and I actually got to leave by 3pm for once. Has anyone else had that one shift where everything just flows and you can't figure out what you did different?

My husband runs a small auto shop, and last spring he had a whole week where every repair went smooth, no callbacks, customers paid on time. He couldn't point to one thing either. I think those moments just sneak up on you when you've put in enough reps and stopped forcing it. It's like baking bread, you follow the same recipe for months and then one day the loaf just turns out perfect. The weird part is you get scared to change anything the next week for fear of breaking the spell. But that's the secret, it was never about the recipe, it was about your hands finally knowing what to do on their own.

Was it just a quieter pace or did you tweak your station setup at all? For me, that flow shift happened once I stopped trying to do everything myself and just trusted my expo person to call the shots. Honestly, sometimes it's less about what you changed and more about the whole team finally getting into the same rhythm.
