My brand new brush head just snapped off halfway through a job in Nashville yesterday

I had just started sweeping a heavy creosote buildup on a rental property and the wire bristles completely ripped away from the base after maybe 5 minutes of work, so I had to drive 30 minutes back to the shop to grab my backup and lost the whole morning slot has anyone else had cheap brush heads fail like that out of nowhere?

Did you check the brand before you bought it? I grabbed a cheap knockoff brush head off Amazon last spring and it literally fell apart on the second job, bristles everywhere. Now I only buy the name brand ones from the local supply house, they cost more but I haven't had a fail yet.

I dunno, sometimes the cheap ones work just fine for me though.

Oh man, that exact same thing happened to me! I thought I was being smart saving a few bucks and ended up with bristles all over a freshly painted door. Learned my lesson the hard way, now I stick with the ones I know won't fall apart.
