Spent $310 on a camera for inside flue inspections and it turned out to be the best money I ever put into the truck
I kept putting off buying a inspection camera because $310 felt like a lot for something I only use a few times a week. Then a customer in Raleigh swore her flue was clean and I could not argue with her without proof, so I finally caved and got one with a 36 foot reel. First job out, I found a cracked tile 12 feet down that I never would have caught with my mirror and flashlight. Now I show folks the screen before I even quote the work and nobody argues with me anymore. How do you all handle it when a homeowner swears the flue is fine and you know it is not?
