Spent $400 on a carbon fiber brush handle and wish I had my old wooden one back
Bought one of those fancy carbon fiber brush handles at a trade show in Cleveland last spring. Thought it would be lighter and easier on my wrist after a long day of sweeping. Thing cost me $400 and it's too slick to grip when my hands get even a little sweaty. Been reaching for my beat-up wooden handle with the electrical tape wrap for the last 6 months instead. Anyone else drop cash on new tech and just go back to the old stuff?

Hold on, you paid $400 for a brush handle? Like just the handle part, not the whole brush? I can't wrap my head around dropping that kind of cash on something you hold while pushing dirt around.

Used to think carbon fiber was the future of everything but this makes total sense. Sometimes the cheap stuff just works better.

What kind of brush handle costs $400 though? Was it made out of actual carbon fiber or something? I've been using the same $12 plastic one from Home Depot for like 5 years now and it still works fine.
