Switched from a wire brush to poly bristles on a 30 foot liner job in Boise and I'm not sure I'm sold
I used to keep two wire brushes on the truck because they were cheap and I figured they scrubbed glazed creosote off faster, and for about 3 years that was just how I did it. Last month on a stainless liner in Boise I tried a poly brush a buddy left in my shop and it came out way cleaner with less scratching on the liner walls, though it took maybe 15 extra minutes per flue. Anyone else made the change, or do you keep both depending on how bad the buildup is?
