A guy in Phoenix paid me $0 upfront for a $3,800 logo job, then went silent for 19 days
He promised a 50% deposit on a Tuesday, said his bookkeeper would send it that Friday, and then I got nothing but crickets for almost 3 weeks. I finally emailed saying I was shelving the files, and he replied in 4 minutes with the full amount plus a tip. Has anyone tried a hard deadline like that before, or did I just get lucky?
