Rant: wrote off a $50 deposit as a scam, then the guy actually showed
I was so sure the "pay half up front" thing was a ghost setup since 3 people bailed on me last month. He dropped $50 on Venmo, sent me a shot of his calendar with the dates circled, and has replied within an hour every single time since. Is this just what a normal working relationship looks like and I've been unlucky, or did I get weirdly lucky here?
