Can we talk about the guy who wanted 5 mockups for a $200 logo
I had a client last month ask for five completely different logo concepts for a flat $200 fee, then took two weeks to give feedback on each round. He finally ghosted me after I sent the final files. Anyone else get these people who think cheap pricing means unlimited work?

@ross.kim your buddy Dan and I must share the same client list, I swear I've had that exact conversation about making a mascot look more like someone's pet. Honestly at this point I should just start charging by the "can you make it pop" request instead of by the hour.

My buddy Dan just went through this exact thing. A guy wanted a full brand package including a mascot for $150. Dan sent three sketches, the client asked for six more revisions on each one, then hit him with "can you just make the dog look more like my actual dog" after two months of back and forth. Eventually the dude stopped answering texts and Dan never saw the last $75. He still jokes about how he spent like 20 hours on that gig for what works out to basically minimum wage.
