Client who questioned every line item made me rethink my pricing breakdowns
Had a client in Austin last month who went through my invoice line by line and asked why I charged $150 for a site migration checklist. I realized I never clearly spell out the hours behind each deliverable. now I attach a quick breakdown of time estimates to every quote. Anyone else have clients who grill you on specific rates?

75 bucks for hosting setup is cheap actually, you're selling yourself short there.

My Austin client asked why my $75 flat fee for a hosting setup was more than what they saw on a forum. I had to explain that included testing and security tweaks. Now I just put a simple note on the invoice that says "covers 1 hour of setup plus verification.

Man, @caleb_bell5 is right - it's like comparing a home-cooked meal to a frozen dinner (both fill you up but one's way better).

$75 for a hosting setup and they're out here comparing it to some random forum price? People really don't get the difference between clicking "install now" and actually making sure stuff doesn't break.
