Had a client ask for a full rewrite after approving the outline
Last Tuesday a client gave me a big yes on a detailed outline. I spent 3 days writing the piece. Then they came back and said they wanted a completely different angle. No extra pay, just expected me to eat the hours. Has anyone else dealt with clients who change their mind after signing off?

Garcia said that, and yeah, it's true - people hate confrontation so they'll say anything to end a conversation. They figure they can fix it later or hope you'll just go along with whatever new thing they want.

People say yes just to move on and figure the details out later, it's everywhere not just freelancing.
