Had a client ghost after a full site build, left me out $2,500
They were super nice during the planning calls but stopped answering emails the day after I sent the final files. The whole thing took about a month of my time. Anyone else get burned by a client who seemed totally fine until the invoice showed up?

Honestly that "super nice during planning" part is the worst. Tbh I had a guy be super friendly for weeks then just vanish over a much smaller logo payment. It makes you not want to trust anyone's good mood.
